Dear Sir / Madam:

I had just installed the Openssh 3.1p for the HP unix platform 10.0. server. I got some questions about this. One of the users account cannot use the openssh to this server. He is using putty, which is the ssh client installed on the Window 2000 professional platform. After he type the ip address and ready to ssh to this server, the server ask him the login name then the password. After he enters the password, the connection is disconnected.

My user account is work for using putty to this openssh server.

1). Then, I tryp to copy the home directory of .ssh directory to that user directory. I change the .ssh directory to 700 and the corresponding user ownership. It stills does not work.
2). I try to uninstall the openssh 3.1p and install the openssh 3.1p again 3). I try to not using putty for ssh client on window 2000 professional and I use the secureCRT for the ssh client. It stills get the same case

Thanks

Regards

Henry Chan
