Weird problem with ssh and X

My name is Chris, HI!

I'm hoping i've come to the right place for this question....let me know!

I've got a "from" computer (which can be many) and to "on" computer. (hehe, keep reading)

"From" my computer [at home, work, etc] i try to log "on" to my development box through ssh. Which runs openssh-3.1p1, openssl-0.9.6 or maybe openssl-0.9.6b, and xfree86...(how do i find the version for xf86?)

The "on" server is a Red Hat 7.2, 686. And has:

	Host *
		...
		ForwardX11 yes
		...

in it's sshd_config.

Okay, here's the problem...

"From" connects to "on" below....

bash-2.05$ ssh orion2.someserver.com -X

Did you catch it?? What is ý%@ÀÎÿ¿: ý%@ÀÎÿ¿: Pretty cryptic, huh?

Here's the -v -v -v version...

Again.... Still.... Cryptic... to me at least. Could anyone help me out? I've done googled this problem with no luck.

I have no test data to determine if the debug even points out any problem exists....

Maybe i should be sending this to a xf86 mailing list? Maybe they speak the language of ý%@ÀÎÿ¿: ;-)

Maybe there is a config directive that i've missed or something, but i don't believe so...because i've followed many "How to tunnel X"'s and each come up with this problem still... Should i upgrade...ssh?ssl?xf86?linux!!?

Can we help you?X

Anything else i should be including to help everyone be more able to help me!?

	Thanks a bundle!
