question about openssh

When I build openssh I had built it correctly with configuring prngd in it. and a coworking didn't add it to her config statement which ment openssh didn't know about it. she came up with a file called usr/local/etc/ssh_prng_cmds - is the openssh's version of the prngd commands that getsgenerated if you don't configure prngd into it? or am I waaaayyy off base? I am just trying to understand why hers installed and my didn't.
