SFTP From Linux to Windows

Hello,

I'm doing development work on a remote Windows server, running SSH Secure Shell Server 3.x and I'm using SFTP to transfer files.

I have two main clients that support SFTP that I want to use. The first is UltraEdit v10, which includes SFTP/SSH2 file-transfer functionality. The second is the sftp client that comes with OpenSSH 3.5p1 running on RedHat Linux 6.2.

UltraEdit:
I can connect to the remote server via SFTP with no problem with my initial directory set to /. However, when I try to change directories, for instance /wwwroot I get the error:
"Server returned an error:4

General Failure"

sftp from Linux:
Again, I can connect without a problem with initial directory /. However, when I cd /wwwroot I get the error:
"Couldn't state remote file: No such file or directory"

I've played a bit with trying different paths and slashes, but end up getting the same messages. I use both UltraEdit and sftp tools for connecting to a OpenSSH server on Linux and FreeBSD without any problems.

Also, when I download the SSH Secure Shell Client for Windows, and try using the sftp2 command line tool, all works, ie) I login, and cd /wwwroot and continue without problem.

Do you need help?X

Any pointers on this would be great, or if any other information is required, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you,
