Sun also provides a patch to provide /dev/random on older (8 and lower) distributions, SUNWski. Have used this in the past with no problem. Sun has a blueprint that you may want to read titled 'Building OpenSSH Tools and Tradeoffs' that provides a good explanation of installing OpenSSH onto Solaris, and the tools/options to consider when completing an installation.
