This is the problem, the rest are warnings. Between AIX versions 5.1 and 5.2 IBM changed the number of arguments that loginfailed() takes from 3 to 4.

Future versions of OpenSSH will detect the number of arguments that loginfailed() takes and adjust accordingly. I'll backport that fix to the next version of the password expiry patch.
