Re: Unable to Use Backslash Under Remote Bash shell
From: Jeff Hill <jhill(at)hrpost.com>
Date: Tue Aug 05 2003 - 10:16:08 EDT I tried your suggestiong about a bad dot file, but couldn't find anything strange. I tried removing everything from my .bashrc and .bash_profile files except a basic path statement; no luck there. My ssh configuration files are just the basic ones from the Debian installation. The only thing I can think of is that the Debian maintainers might have mucked with the code, but that seems like a long shot -- I can't see any reports of any similar problems on the Debian mailing lists. Still, I could try to build ssh from source. Thanks again for any suggestions, Jeff Hill
