Yes. Free/SWAN is the best by far. I heard it was officially included
in kernels 2.5.x so it will come with vanilla 2.6/3.0.
We've been using it to encrypt some traffic from one office to the main
datacenter. It is up, in full production environment, since about 1
year and a half ago. We've installed and it is so fine that I didn't
even remembered we had it until you asked this question :) Even though
they (both peers) are on common PCs, Celeron at 300 if I recall it...
