Re: Searching a commercial version of Dumpsec
From: Arjun Pednekar <arjunp(at)nii.co.in>
Date: Fri Jan 24 2003 - 12:59:25 EST Hi, You could try our free tool DumpWin http://www.nii.co.in/tools.html In addition to dumping information about users, groups, shares, running processes, services, password and account lockout policies, it also dumps ACLs on files and registry keys. Since it is a command-line tool it can be scheduled with 'at'. Also, you only need to supply it a text file which will contain the list of files/folders and registry keys which you want to dump the ACLs of. It does not yet dump the local security policy but it can be easily modified to do this, if you require that. As far as support is concerned, we can provide you with modifications that you might require. We may discuss this offline. Regards,
Arjun Pednekar,
Dear All
we are actually searching for a standalone tool, that can work on a
downstripped W2k or NT machine, and Dump all the Users right and ACL to a
txt file.
Why not Dumpsec ? Because we need a tool and support... We need some kind of support contract, maintenance, and engagement concerning the security of the product.. A commercial version of Dumpsec. THe tools should be able to accept command line parameters, and to be scheduled via AT, or other tools...
Any Links?
