You're bordering on #3 here, actually. It (probably) doesn't exist. Even if it did, it wouldn't work very well.
Remember that the VPN connection you're seeking does not protect
the computers in any way.
Several DSL-providers let you buy a managed FW-service. You rent or
buy a small black-box from them (it could even be built in to your
DSL-router),
And no matter what the solution, it will involve someone having to
