Re: building an FAQ for Security-Basics
From: Al Sez <aer(at)efn.org>
Date: Mon Jul 21 2003 - 20:14:29 EDT c'mon guys. It's all very well and good to have suggestions but how about some of you hot-shots actually *writing* some of these FAQs? It's good that someone is willing to take over the maintenance and updating of a FAQ but it is my experience that the best FAQs are not the work of a single person but rather the collaborative efforts of many different members of the group. Even if you can't write the whole thing, just putting together a good outline and a rough draft can go a long way towards getting the project underway. I am a total newbie in security and half the time I just barely sorta understand what you guys are talking about but I am learning. I may take some small part and try my hand at it. The effort of researching and writing would probably help me understand the issues a lot better!
Just my .02.
