As far as my experiences go, banks usually go with bank specific hosting
companies simply b/c they have the banking software available...that doesn't
mean it'll be any more secure than another host, but for most part, wouldn't
you rather be with a company who's using the same software for multiple
banks (parts of that sound really wrong...compromise one site and you can go
at any other site.) i mean that in terms of, well you're gonna hope that
they're constantly developing their software and checking up on it's
security...in other words, the classic the more people hacking at it the
better it'll hopefully be. That and ya gotta figure, a company that does
online banking tries their best to keep stuff secure, or at least has some
serious insurance, b/c their job is money. the only article i could find on
online banking hosting was here:
http://www.orcc.comhttp://www.digitalinsight.comhttp://www.ncr.com i stole those links from the article, but at least you won't have to google for them. The article actually looks pretty decent or at least will give you a really good start so hit that up. have a good one, adam Adam Newhard Microstrain, Inc.
