Information Security Solutions Specialists - Washington, New York, Charlotte, Miami, Houston, Dallas

Requires:
§ Minimum 5 to 10 years in information security - CISSP highly desirable
§ Consulting experience in information security - in-house consulting is
a plus
§ Sales experience in information security or a related field
§ Excellent writing and oral presentation skills
§ Presently based in Washington, New York, Charlotte, Miami, Houston, or
Dallas

The hiring company is a leading international provider of services and solutions to improve IT infrastructure. Solutions bring together expertise and technologies - software, hardware, procedures, and management - to protect client data and networks.

The firm is hiring Solutions Specialists to help sell the firm's solutions. Working with a sales rep, the Solutions Specialist visits potential clients, defines project scope, creates solution methodologies, develops proposals, and helps sell security solutions. Also, develops and delivers information security related presentations and seminars. As solutions are delivered, the Solutions Specialist oversees development and delivery of solutions.

This is a sale role, providing technical expertise to support sales efforts. There is no cold calling, but lots of selling. Must know how to close a deal, given the right audience. Requires excellent written and oral presentation skills.

Requires substantial prior experience in information security consulting. CISSP is highly desirable. Strong security background in some or all of the following areas is required:
§ Security Assessments
§ Scanning and Analysis
§ Perimeter Security
§ Security Design for Wireless
§ IPTel
§ Networks and UNIX systems
§ VPN
Products included in solutions sold include:
§ Checkpoint
§ Cisco, Network Intelligence
§ RSA Secure IT
§ ClearTrust
§ MSSP services
§ ISS
§ CipherTrust....

Positions are based in the following locations. Hiring only people presently living in these areas, and with good contacts in local companies or agencies:
§ Washington, DC area
§ New York City
§ Charlotte
§ Miami
§ Houston or Dallas, Texas
Travel may approach 50% at start, tapering to 25% as local business develops.
