Summary: Sales Engineer with network security experience for pre-sales support of enterprise security solutions. Must have a strong security background in enterprise IDS, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively support Account Executives during sales cycle. Working as part of the sales team, Sales Engineers will act as the technical liaison between the customer and the company. Will deliver technical sales presentations to targeted prospects/clients/partners. The sales engineers will work closely with Account Executives and sales teams while executing the technical aspects of the sales strategy. Job Description: The Sales Engineer(s) will be responsible for all technical sales support for customer and reseller organizations. The key objectives for the position will center on extensive customer engagements within the Enterprise, Government and VAR communities. This position will serve as the pre-sales expert in support of the sales team and will contribute to all aspects of the sales cycle and will provide product requirements feedback to marketing and product management. The candidate should have demonstrated customer technical sales experience with enterprise network security products and consistently obtained praise from customers, sales and product management personnel.
