Senior Security Engineer IL -$110,000

We are looking for a very senior hands on security engineer with at least five years security experience. Relocation is an option at the moment.

Candidates must be very strong in Checkpoint NG and Provider-1. This experience must translate to an equally strong understanding of Sun Solaris and Nokia platforms. This is for a strong, stable company with a nationwide presence. You will serve as the subject matter expert on a number of production security technologies and fulfill corresponding vendor relationship and product/service acquisition, support, and maintenance contract management.

You will also provide 4th level (technical architecture design and vendor management issues) support for a number of production security technologies. There will be some internal customer interactions so articulation skills are a must on top of technical writing skills.

Some additional skills wanted are as follows:

Enterasys Dragon (IDS), Tripwire (v2 or higher), Host(UNIX or Windows) security hardening Checkpoint

v4.1, NG, NetScreen 2.6.x, 3.0.x, 3.1.x, Cisco IOS
12.x, Solaris 7 or 8, Linux, ISS RealSecure (v6.0 or
6.5), Snort(v1.6 or higher).
