Security Engineer -- San Diego

Job Title: Security Engineer
Job Type: Info Tech/Telecommunications

Must have Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain Secret clearance upon hire.

Education: BA or BS degree plus a minimum of 10 years experience in a relevant technical field with specific training on commonly used security products such as RACF, Vanguard, Computer Associates IDMS etc.

Job Description: To provide technical expertise in the area of IBM systems security to assist Corporate ITS in creating and maintaining a secure MVS Corporate Enterprise. Configure RACF user authentication and IDMS database, for the prevention and intervention of malicious users. Make recommendations and design system tools to aid system engineers in the performance of their functions as relating to security.

Required Skills: A minimum of 10 years of experience in data security or system administration. Must have intimate knowledge of MVS system Security and IBM Mainframe applications such as RACF. CA IDMS and Associated tools as well as Vanguard. US Citizenship required.

Desired Skills: Knowledge of Oracle DB security and general Host based Intrusion Detection methods. CISSP Certification desirable.
