OPPORTUNITY:
A leading information security company, based in Atlanta, GA, has retained our firm to find a sales executive for the NY Tri-State area. We prefer candidates that are already established in that territory. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment with some of the industry's most sought after experts and to have exposure to leading edge network and security technology. The company has sustained growth over the last few years and is positioned to continue to make significant strides in this industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as an individual contributor to the consultative sales of security products and services in the New York City Tri-State area
  • Identify and qualify prospects by networking, office/site visits, and cold calling. Company also creates lead generation through direct mail and partner relationships
  • Build and maintain new revenue within established account base and through newly acquired accounts
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet monthly goals
  • Manage entire sales process, from initial point of contact to close and implementation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years consultative, solutions based sales experience in information technology, network/data security, or wireless markets
  • Must have experience providing consultative solutions in the information/data/network security market place
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota selling into the enterprise market
  • Experience in developing new business and a multi-million dollar pipeline quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to build, nurture, and leverage relationships with C-level executives, using a consultative approach
  • Superior networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills required
  • Highly motivated overachiever with the ability to work independently and manage long sales cycles
