The Institute for Applied Network Security is the premier membership
organization for practicing network security professionals. The
Institute’s mission is to provide key technical and business insights to
help members solve their most pressing professional challenges.
Responsibilities:
The Institute is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and high energy
individual to join our member sales team. This position involves selling
the Institute’s events to practicing network security professionals. The
Institute sells directly to CIO’s, Chief Information Security Officers and
their direct reports inside Fortune 2000 corporations, government and
large academic institutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of proven, successful sales or progressive account
management experience either in the network security or technology
marketplace, or in the tradeshow/event industry
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with senior technical professionals
- Strong desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies, and clearly
articulate value propositions.
- Confident, competitive, well-organized and driven to succeed
- Team-oriented
- Committed to delivering results
- Interested in pursuing a sales career
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications; experience with Goldmine or
ACT! selling databases a plus
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will consist of a base salary plus
commissions paid against specific sales objectives. Comprehensive health
benefits are included with this position.
