Leading technology company seeks experienced network security engineers to join our growing security division. Candidate must possess strong written and oral communications skills and a level attitude to blend with our team.

As a Network Security Engineer, candidate will lead complex projects in a team environment to design, develop, implement, and support security policies and network security infrastructures to address clients' perimeter and internal security concerns. Candidate will use products from Check Point, NOKIA, CISCO, NetScreen, Secure Computing, ISS, WebSense, TrendMicro, NFR, Enterasys, SourceFire, TripWire, Entrust, SecurID, StoneSoft, F5, RadWare, Microsoft, and other COTS and Open Source solutions.

Bachelor's (4 year degree) or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Electronics Engineering, or related field; or over 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidates holding the following certifications are encouraged to apply:

• CISCO (CCIE Security, CCSP, Firewall / IDS Specialist)
• SAN's GIAC Security Certifications (Level-I and Level-II)
• Check Point (CCSA,CCSE,CCSE+,CCSI v4.x and NG)
• ISC2 CISSP / SSCP
• NSA IAM

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Ability to research, recommend, and implement new security technologies.
• Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (diagrams, graphs, charts, etc.)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals and reports.
• Ability to effectively present information to upper management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• Ability to mentor junior security engineers.

-=Technical Requirements

Candidate should possess hands-on knowledge in at least 4 or more of the following areas:

• Perimeter Network Security using filtering, proxying, and stateful firewalls
• Intrusion Detection and Monitoring
• Security Policy Design
• Encryption
• Network and Host Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
• Authentication (Strong Authentication, zero knowledge proof systems, etc.)
• Content Filtering and Anti Virus
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Log Analysis and Reporting
• IP Topology Design
• IP Routing and Routing Protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, IGRP, EIGRP)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP family of protocols
• Operating Systems: NT, Solaris, Red Hat, BSD, HP-UX, AIX.
