This individual will perform the following tasks:
Develop, follow, and/or implement directory policies, strategies,
guidelines, standards and procedures.
Performs research on directory technologies and tools; designs and
implements directory architecture; implements and upgrades products.
Interfaces with business partners to:
Understand their directory needs
Design, develop or recommend integrated directory solutions
Implement and support solutions
Provide project analyst support for Windows 2000 Active Directory, General
Directory (X.500, LDAP V3), Meta Directory ( AKA provisioning) and Web
Access Management.
Provide directory services consultant and guidance throughout the project
life cycle.
Serve as a liaison to third level Directory Services.
Implement directory policies and procedures.
Provide PERL and POSIX shell Scripting support directory services
projects.
Advising project teams regarding directory requirements and
recommendations for their applications.
And other duties as assigned.
Following are the skills required:
Solid experience with LDAP directories, preferably Critical Path
Directory, Microsoft Active Directory, and Netscape Directory Server.
Strong knowledge of PERL scripting, POSIX shell scripting, and Lightweight
Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
Strong knowledge and experience working with HPUX operating systems and
Windows operating systems.
Networks Broad Knowledge.
Protocols TCP/IP.
Knowledge of Domain Name System (DNS).
Knowledge of VBscript scripting desired.
Knowledge and support experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
desired.
Knowledge of general Data communications desired.
Knowledge and understanding of X.500 desired.
Knowledge of Web Access Management (WAM) software such as Site Minder
desired.
GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) or completion of an
equivalent level of directory training desired. If not currently
certified, must be able to complete certification or equivalent training
within a reasonable period of time.
