Application Security Architect - Portland, OR/ Seattle, WA/ San Mateo, CA - EOE

My client and I are searching for a senior application security architect with extensive hands on experience with several programming languages on various platforms. This is a security architecture role, not a developer role although development experience is a very high priority. This role revolves around client consulting in the areas of low level penetration testing and assessments. MS development experience is a plus as well as code reviewing and client facing skills.

You will assist our clients developers, after an initial assessment, with the integration of various security applications throughout the enterprise. You will conduct research on new information security technologies in the areas of application and application infrastructure components. You will also be responsible for the full lifecycle project management of the new security service you deemed applicable. This will consist of all project phases from business case development to internal marketing material development.

You will also serve as the subject matter expert on applicable security technologies as well as facilitate and expedite the appropriate vendor relationships.  

Hands on experience in as many of the following:

.Net Architectures.

C, C++, Java, XML, applied in OO n-tier application development.

Sanctum AppShield and other Application layer Intrusion Detection Systems.

Entrust Authority CA, RSA Keon and other PKI systems.
