Senior Software/Security Engineer (Redwood City, California)

Will work with a small team of security engineers and the larger engineering organization to:

• Design and write new software
• Improve the security of existing and new code by participating in reviews and designing and writing security-related tests.
• Update and fix security issues in existing software.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in software development in C and C++.
• Deep knowledge of operating system internals, with particular emphasis on UNIX-based OS's (Linux).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SSL).
• Experience with (modifying or coding against) OpenSSL.
• Experience with (modifying or writng) other applications of cryptography.
• Have designed and written security-focused code.
• Experience doing security-focused design and code reviews.
• Experience in developing tests for security holes.
