Calgary - Security Focus,CAN Development Duties

This is an intermediate-level professional software engineer position that participates in the development and maintenance of simple to moderately complex software application programs and parts of sophisticated systems with an overall business objective of producing high quality code according to a given product's functional specifications. Design, develop and maintain high-quality code for simple to moderately complex components in a given product, with a focus on implementation; evaluate and learn new technologies and build applications using those technologies; collaborate with team.

Requirements

Ability to be action-oriented; ability to work with minimum supervision and set priorities

Good problem solving skills; good written and verbal communication skills, ability to follow through on implementation.

Experience with Perl and Apache on the Linux platform, experience with SQL databases in an MS SQL server environment as well as Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP). Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.

This position is for Calgary, Alberta Canada. Only local (to the city or region) candidates need apply.
