data security Analyst needed in Richmond, VA

I have a new opening for one of our clients in Richmond, VA. Year long contract expected to last through April of 2004.

Leadership: *Completes assignments on schedule following established procedures. *Keeps operations running efficiently by communicating to others in a timely manner. *Actively assists, or provides direction to, other associates as required. *May perform, especially in staff or professional groups, ongoing tasks of organized units. *Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality and efficiency.

Duties/ Requirements: *Possesses a basic understanding of the functional and operational aspects of supported business areas. *Collects, documents and prioritizes business and operational requirements. *Works with other information technology and/or business area associates to define alternative solutions to defined business needs. *Recommends optimal solutions based on applicable business, systems, and industry requirements. *Interfaces with programmers, analysts, and/or technical associates to explain requirements, recommends solutions, and helps resolve issues. *Is accountable for less complex projects or parts of a project.

Education: MS/MBA or equivalent, with up to 2 years progressive experience. OR BS/BA or equivalent, with 2 to
3 years progressive experience. OR 6 to 7 years progressive experience. May include successful completion of Intermediate level equivalent work for non-degreed incumbent. Experience with the Business Engine Network Application preferred.
