Duties:

Provide technical and performance management for a team of Software Engineers responsible for vulnerability/exploit research and IDS signature development. Will be responsible for the technical development and management of products during their entire life cycle; interface crossfunctionally  to achieve goals. Sets technical direction for major initiatives and ensures that all deliverables produced is of quality and meets requirements as defined by the Product Management group; work with Program Management to forecast work estimates and ensure that team executes according to plan.

Requirements:  

Ability to be action-oriented; ability to lead staff working on assigned project(s); demonstrated knowledge of effective management methods; ability to multi-task, strong system administration, problem-solving, communication, and team building skills. Must understand full software development, testing, and defect management processes. 2-4 years development management position required. Must be familiar with a variety of network traffic generation, capture, and analysis tools. Must be familiar with the principles of network protocols. 5-7 years experience working with intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, vulnerability assessment, and/or development;. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience. CISSP preferred.
