Duties:

Responsible for all aspects of product management for assigned product in Symantec's Network IDS space. General duties include, but are not limited to: product strategy, market research, customer research, product specification, feature prioritization, and product launch. Specific duties include but are not limited to: the creation of business plans, revenue forecasts, competitive market analysis, product roadmap, product functional requirements, launch plans. "Just Do It!" attitude a major plus.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus. Must possess a technical understanding of enterprise security software. Two to four years Product Management experience delivering corporate software solutions is required. Demonstrated business judgment, leadership, and creative problem solving. Should have led product, strategic or business planning functions in a previous organization. Action oriented, business acumen, composure, creativity, customer centered, decision quality, integrity and trust, interpersonal savvy, organization, perseverance, priority setting, results through action, managing vision and purpose, and written communication.
