Security Software Pre-Sales Engineer (Chicago)

Urgent need for a strong Pre-Sales Engineer with depth in the Security Software space. Your role and responsibilities will include:

• customer facing position that takes primary responsibility for the technical relationship with potential new customers
• fully understand the entire product line
• effectively interact with Engineering, Product Managers, Sales and Marketing
• willingness to travel at least 50%
• perform technical sales presentations
• provide software and network troubleshooting on complex issues
• provide product training to Sales and Resellers
• mentor junior SEs

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 plus years of Pre-Sales experience with Security Software products
• exp with Unix
• LAN/WAN expertise

PREFERRED:

• Lotus Notes (Domino)
• Linux and Windows OS
• Firewalls
• Web Servers
• RDBS
• Protocol Analyzer skills
• Storage (EMC, NetApp…)
