Position Description:

The Consulting Manager will work daily with each Cyber Operations Center Engineer in accomplishing the Operations mission to ensure the defined standards. Ultimately responsible for configuration, lifecycle management, and security of all SOC managed and/or monitored security devices and implementing industry best practices with regards to firewall and IDS configurations. Responsibilities include security engineering, lifecycle management, security consulting, and standards definition.

• Define and maintain secure baselines for all deployed devices & upgrade path
• Installation and documentation of security devices at customer locations
• Define standard processes for integrating new devices
• Maintain and monitor ticketing system at customer cyber center operation
• Develop standard procedures for implementing customer change request
• Define and maintain customer security response procedures and documentation
• Define processes to verify health & welfare of all customers’ devices
• Maintain and track licensing and support issues for all deployed devices

Essential Position Functions:

• Minimum of 10 years experience as system & network administrator in both NT & Unix, and hands on experience with defining and maintain baselines.
• Security Certifications (CISSP, CISA, or CISM) required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in project management
• Experience with high profile customer management
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing technical security solutions, including firewalls, virtual private networks and intrusion detection systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
