You’ll be working with an outstanding team with an impressive track record. We need a talented individual to fill the role of Information Security Technician. In this contract position, the selected individual will be responsible for assisting an Information Assurance Program Management Office (PMO), the customer, and functional community with various activities required for the security test and evaluation (ST&E) of retail business applications, information systems platforms, networks, and related infrastructure. Your duties will include to technically support the information assurance (IA) requirements to include documentation, monitoring, and tracking; oversight and implementation of the ST&E and all related testing activities; development and analysis of system test scenarios; identification of test data from the systems; observation of testing activities; evaluation of test results and any corrective actions proposed by the customer.  

Minimum Qualifications

                Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

                At least 10 years’ experience in Information Systems and/or Information Technology Management.

                Specific experience in security testing and documenting test results. Successful candidate will have worked as a network/system administrator and is familiar with IT auditing procedures

                Excellent oral and written communication skills

                Preparation/delivery of presentations and reports using MS office products.

                Candidates must be U. S. Citizens; background investigation is required.  

Desired Qualifications

   Certification as a CISCO Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) is highly desired.

   Experience with HP-UNIX and ORACLE RDBMS is a plus.

   Prior or current Secret security clearance is highly desired.
