Senior Network Security Engineers - Amherst, NY

Network Security Corp. (NSEC) currently has positions open in their Amherst, NY office for Senior Network Security Engineers.

Duties:
* Support growing customer base on a variety of security products and
implementations, particularly Check Point FireWall-1 NG, Nokia, NetScreen, and ISS RealSecure.

• Install and configure various security products in customer environments.
• Design or assist in designing Network Security Architectures, utilizing skills to properly place firewalls, IDS, IPS, Anti-Virus and other security products in the corporate network.
• Assist entry-level staff on support issues that are escalated from Security Associates and Security Engineers to Senior Security Engineers.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers in coordination with NSEC Account Managers.

Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years experience designing, delivering, implementing, supporting
or troubleshooting network security technologies such as Enterprise Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Anti-Virus, Authentication Tokens, RADIUS, and High Availability Firewall Solutions.

• Familiarity with security products from Check Point, Nokia, NetScreen, ISS, TrendMicro, Aladdin, ISS, and others.
• Must have ability to install, configure and troubleshoot Check Point and Nokia products at a minimum.
• Ability to design Network Security Architectures is a plus.

* Check Point Certified Security Associate (CCSA NG)

• Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE NG)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
• Nokia Security Administrator (NSA)
• NetScreen Certified Security Associate (NCSA)
• NetScreen Certified Security Professional (NCSP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
