Overall Responsibilities and Relationships:

Assume Practice Lead for this new business venture. Develop marketing strategies around expanding business capabilities and supporting the identification, qualification, and capture of new business opportunities in the civil market sector (especially the 22 sub-agencies rolled into the Homeland Security Administration), NASA, State Department, and the Department of Justice. Develop strategies to build, grow, and leverage both a client base and delivery capability. Provide strategic methodologies including design and plan of Secure Digital Infrastructures, Diagnostics, Benchmarking, Network Security Risk Mitigation and Management, and IT Project Life-Cycle Management.  

Execute the business vision of the Secure Network Solutions Team. The incumbent will be the &#8220;hands-on&#8221; leader of the business unit. The expectation is to &#8220;hit the ground running&#8221; with little to no &#8220;wrap time&#8221;; gaining significant traction in the first 3-6 months. Within the first 30 days the hired candidate, with support from the Principal, Integrated Network Services Group, will have an initial business/plan to begin executing.

The hired candidate will function as a recognized leader of the team and a role model of the firm&#8217;s core values, and you will play a significant role in:

-Developing the second tier of team members within 12 months while
balancing staff development with
 assignment opportunities
-Developing and maintaining client relationships
-Managing business systems, including rate management, assignment, and
contract management
-Contributing to the development of intellectual capital

Position Criteria:

The business leadership for this position requires that the hired candidate possess: a minimum of 4 years direct, progressive solutions selling and business management in the federal marketplace, a consultative selling approach, a proven pipeline of $4-8MM, experience in large procurements, a proven history of handling multiple assignments and be seen as key to solution delivery. Other desirable characteristics include: history of capturing large federal deals, healthy rolodex of federal client relationships, experience in service offering development, current and active participation in federal industry forums, broad industry connections, ability to cross-sell and a well-established base of portable business.

Additional attributes of the successful candidate include: a history of managing a portfolio of client execution efforts, a chronicled history of success in past performance, strong delivery skills, and an active TS clearance. Experience in secure infrastructure (and the encompassing issues), technical expertise in networking, thorough understanding of mutli-level security, knowledge of secure messaging space and overall knowledge of information security are all desirable assets.

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:
