Information Security Officer/IT Professional availability

Information Security Officer with over 18 years experience looking for a new opportunity.

I have extensive experience designing and implementing WAN/LAN security, network, and e-mail systems and infrastructures for up to 30,000 users in various industries including banking, health care, manufacturing, and retail. My responsibilities have included policy creation for HIPAA and GLB compliance. I have hardware and application design experience creating secure and fault tolerant environments.

My certifications include Novell Master CNE, Novell CNI (Certified NetWare Instructor), Microsoft MCP, CISSP (pending test results), and in progress CCNP and CBCP.

I have worked as a contract and interim CIO, a security and networking consultant, and a project manager with budget responsibility to $5,000,000.

I have my MBA with dual majors in management and marketing and my undergrad degree is in Business with HR emphasis. I am an excellent communicator and have presented extensively at all levels up to and including the C-level and board of directors.

I am currently located in Portland, Oregon, but I am open to relocation and/or extensive travel.
