Zone Labs is currently looking for a SWE-Technical Lead. This position is responsible for specifying, designing and implementing changes to the TrueVector Engine of our award winning ZoneAlarm and Integrity endpoint security products. The Tech Lead will work closely with architects and other engineers to add new functionality as well as maintain current products. The right candidate should have a very strong working knowledge of developing and debugging multi-threaded applications. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience with Windows environments (98/ME, 2000, NT, and XP), network security issues and some experience implementing various network security protocols. Demonstrated experience leading software projects is required.

- Solid experience with OO designing and programming skills. C/C++.

• Hands-on experience with Windows kernel and networking driver development.
• Proven ability to analyze and comprehend complex code quickly.
• Demonstrated experience as a technical lead in similar projects.
• Platform development (specification and implementation of API&#8217;s).
• Detailed understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocol, and system security concepts.
• Familiarity with gateways, VPN, IPSEC, Firewalls, IKE, Encryption, and IDS.
• Working knowledge of Java/servlet programming.
• Prior experience successfully taking a product through the entire software development lifecycle.
• Extensive knowledge of the Windows OS (XP, NT, Win2K etc.) and Microsoft development tools experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Excellent team player. DESIRED SKILL SET
• Familiarity with Solaris and/or Linux kernel development.
• Experience in a similar internet security related company
