In this position, you will present technical product overviews, identify professional service opportunities, assist in determining technical feasibility and requirements, and act as a liaison between the sales organization and client. You will work with product management in identifying and communicating general customer product requirements. The right candidate will have experience building and maintaining business relationships with Enterprise level accounts and will be able to identify up-sell opportunities that will lead to relationship based sales closures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Resolve customer issues, use our automated response system, verify, report and test product deficiencies or bugs. Provide customer feedback on technical issues to other departments. As required, test new releases and provide feedback to Quality Assurance. SKILLS: Four to six years technical experience in a software environment. You must possess great customer service skills with the ability to deal with complex customer issues. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated able to multi-task effectively and work well as a part of a team. Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas: Microsoft Windows 98/NT/2000 server and client versions; Linux 7.1 and SUN Solaris; network architecture, configuration and deployment. Desired skills are knowledge of perimeter and endpoint firewall technologies, intrusion detection technologies and network management applications.
