You will be responsible for all areas of IT and Information Security at this Blue Chip Financial client and in particular you will be responsible for developing policies and guidelines. Although you will inherit a fully functional security infrastructure (covering both mainframe and desktop applications) you will need to keep abreast of all industry processes, procedures and packages in order to keep the system secure.
As well as looking after the technical issues you will also need to display good communication and budget management skills. Technical competency in encryption and authentication will need to be shown and solid experience with the ISS product range is desirable. An understanding of working to BS7799/ISO17799 standards is going to help your case.

Candidates holding CISSP accreditation (or working towards it) will be given priority.

Salary to £45k + pension + excellent benefits
