Security Engineer/Policy Developer/ needed in MD (columbia- baltimore area)

Hello Everyone

Here are the details for the permanent position I now have available. Please bear in mind that this is a direct hire opportunity not contract. As I mentioned last night..if I already have your resume...you do not need to send it again just a quick note..that you would consider permanent offers will do. I have four openings..not sure what percentage will require a clearance.

Salary range 90-110K
location within Columbia- Baltimore MD area Need candidates who can start immediately.

Security Engineer/Policy Developer

JOB SUMMARY: Position requires a Security Engineer with Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and DCI Directive 6/3 policy development experience to support certification and accreditation programs for a US Government customer.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to understand, review, and compile technical and administrative
security plans, policies, and guidelines according to DCID 6/3 and Intelligence Community certification and accreditation processes.
· Able to collect and translate national security requirements into system
security documentation
· Ability to coordinate with customer engineers or administrators to
describe and evaluate agency standard security practices.
· Sound understanding of network protocols and communications.
· Sound understanding of internetworking and world-wide web technologies.
· Strong technical writing and presentation skills

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Education/Experience required: Requires bachelor's degree in a technical
field of study or demonstrable equivalent job experience. Minimum of two years applied experience in security engineering. CISSP a plus.

· Other Requirements for this position:
Must be TS/SCI cleared with full scope polygraph. Must have significant experience in US Intelligence Community. Must possess sound judgment and strong interpersonal communications skills.
