RSA Security is seeking a versatile & talented Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, testing, tuning and debugging of server-side components of RSA's web access management product, ClearTrust®. The servers are responsible for authentication, authorization, auditing and providing Administrative and Runtime interfaces to APIs, among other tasks.

RSA ClearTrust is an easy-to-deploy, rules-based solution that centrally controls and manages user access privileges to Web-based resources based on definable user attributes, business rules and security policies. Written mainly in Java, RSA ClearTrust uses a distributed, multi-threaded architecture and integrates with PKI, security systems, firewalls, application servers and other Web technologies to provide a unified, policy-based access management infrastructure. RSA ClearTrust unifies all aspects of Web-based resource access management including user authentication and authorization, single sign-on, and delegated administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must possess extremely solid programming skills and demonstrate effective
software design skills.
-Minimum 5+ years hands-on development experience in a commercial software
development environment.
-Prior experience with distributed, multi-tiered applications preferred
(enterprise, web-based, etc.)
-Thorough understanding of software development life cycle.
-Proficiency with Object-Oriented design methodology.
-Desire to engage in and provide project and technical leadership over
challenging assignments.

EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum 5+ years Java programming experience to include multi-tier,
client/server applications.
-Strong Java development experience with J2EE and related technologies.
-Experienced in multi-threading and distributed programming.
-Prior experience developing/maintaining/documenting/testing highly
scalable, reliable and geographically distributed servers, written in Java.
-Experience programming in multiple OS environments, specifically UNIX
(Solaris 32-bit & 64-bit, HP-UX 32-bit & 64-bit, AIX, Tru64 Unix), Redhat Linux and WIntel platforms.
-Applied experience with web servers (Netscape, Apache, Microsoft, etc)
and application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, etc.) – specifically on the security aspects of the container. Knowledge of custom realms, registries etc.
-Hands-on experience with LDAP directory servers like iPlanet, Active
Directory, IBM SecureWay, Syntegra, etc., and RDBMS like Oracle.
-Knowledge of standard LDAP schema and experience with extending schema
with new classes/attributes on various directory servers is also required.
-Prior shell scripting (sh/perl) experience, use of middleware, relational
database applications desired.
-In-depth knowledge of various security aspects of software, including
authentication and authorization schemes.
-Knowledge of various authentication mechanisms like BASIC, LDAP, NT,
SecurID, Certificate, NIS, RADIUS required. Experience with Single Sign On (SSO) and Multi domain Single Sign On (MDSSO) preferred.
