Director of Quality Assurance

My client, located in San Francisco, is seeking 7-10 years of technical and management experience in creating and managing the software quality assurance functions of their Security company. You must have experience in managing other managers, lead a team of QA engineers, establish standards and oversee the definition and execution of product test plans and analyze results as well as provide product support, conduct stress/load testing of their product and have a strong knowledge of software development practices. You must have at least 3 years experience in the security field, knowledge of firewalls, network protocols, VPN, etc. This position requires in-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. A BS degree or equivalent, and experience with CVS as well as experience with all variations of Windows and Unix.
