Security Trainer position - Atlanta, GA

Formal description below. I am looking for some more junior type folks that will travel 80-100% to deliver training and consulting services. I will train green-beans, but you must have a foundation of knowledge and a drive to be in the security space. Base plus bonus not to exceed 80k. This is an ATLANTA based position. TITLE:	SECURITY CONSULTANT 
TYPE:	Direct Hire
START DATE:	Immediate
LOCATION:	Atlanta, GA

RESPONSIBILITIES:


*	Provide comprehensive security training in a classroom

environment based on certified courseware covering our complete security solutions set.
* Provide consulting services to customers in pre-sales,
implementation, and post-sales capacity on our security suite.
* Become expert in emerging security technologies such as
Wireless, Identity Management, and Application Security.
* Develop new revenue generating opportunities by working to
understand customer's business needs, discussing these with the sales team, craft proposals and solutions and persuasively communicate them orally and in writing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* 1+ years of formal training experience with 3+ years in the
internetworking industry demonstrating a knowledge of:

• Firewall Technology
• Security Practices (Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing and management)
• LAN/WAN internetworking technology
• Policy and Procedure review and implementation
• Cryptography tools, methods, systems and protocols
• Networking and Applications Protocols
• Other security controls in a variety of shapes and sizes.
  * Superior communication/presentation skills and experience
  teaching technical subjects to diverse audiences
  * Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
  
  • Tactical and strategic expertise in designing, implementing, managing and enhancing network environments utilizing security technology

Ability to travel up to 75% required for this position.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:
* 4 year college degree from an accredited institution

• CISSP strongly recommended
