ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Working out of the San Francisco headquarters, the Corporate Systems Engineer is responsible for the following:

Support this security software company's Inside Sales team as follows: Provide demonstrations of the product line via WebEx and other distance technologies.
Act as a Single Point of Contact for the Inside Sales team with respect to the company's product line, fielding technology questions in real-time and obtaining back-line support as necessary. Be physically present in San Francisco headquarters with the remainder of the Inside Sales Team from 7am-4pm PST on a daily basis (exceptions granted by special arrangement).
Support field Systems Engineers as follows: As directed, create and deliver tools that enable or accelerate the sales process (e.g., scripted demos, additional technology etc). Demonstrate products and consult on enterprise deployment on a "fill-in" basis when field Systems Engineers are otherwise engaged. Follow up with key accounts to ensure smooth adoption of the products; On an occasional basis, deliver training to employees, partners and customers on how to install, configure, deploy and troubleshoot the products within the enterprise.
Support the company's marketing efforts as follows: Provide feedback regarding product usage and desired features to the Product Management and Engineering organizations. Develop and articulate Best Practices regarding enterprise deployment of security products.
Support tradeshow activities on a limited basis where appropriate.  

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent with at least five years’ experience in selling and supporting enterprise infrastructure technology. Infrastructure security experience strongly desired.
