Duties:

This is an intermediate-level professional Lab Engineer position. Job responsibilities will include: Deploy, support and maintain a variety of hardware for the development of security software. Respond to support requests from software developers for both hardware and software needs. Work quickly and accurately in high-pressure situations to deliver specialized test and network environments.

Requirements:

The candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years system administration experience and some experience in most of the following:

Operating Systems: Solaris 2.6-8; HPUX 10 and 11; Windows 2000, NT, XP; AIX

Hardware: Sun Microsystems Ultra and Enterprise-class machines; HP J-class machines; Compaq ProLiant DL-series Intel platform servers; Dell PowerEdge servers; Standard PC-compatible desktop and server machines.

Network engineering skills with Cisco hardware a plus. Experience in remote computing tools such as Terminal Server, PCAnywhere, VNC.... a plus.

Do you need help?

Ability to work under tight schedules, learn new operating systems and hardware quickly. Ability to manage time and prioritize requests from multiple users. Interest in host based intrusion detection a plus. Received on Tue May 20 14:07:21 2003
