MD Community College Teaching Opportunities

Part-time opportunities Looking for multiple candidates to help teach and/or design some network security courses to be taught at Howard Community College. Great opportunity for NetSec professionals to expand or reinforce their knowledge in certain areas of the industry. Design of any course can be done on your schedule. Teaching of courses are night based two-day a week to avoid conflict with other work schedules. Current track of courses include: 1) Introduction to Network Security Systems - Currently Developed 2) Introduction to Firewall Systems - Currently Developed 3) Introduction to Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems - UnderDevelopment 4) Advanced Network Security Systems - To Be Developed 5) Auditing and Securing Network Systems - To Be Developed Candidates should be in the industry and have a minimum of three years experience in the area they would like to teach. Looking for candidates willing to teach course 1 and 2 in the fall semester and candidates to develop and teach courses 4 and 5. Details regarding the required coverage of those courses will be given to any interested parties. All inquiries can be directed to me.
