Etiquette for recruiters

Hey all,

For those recruiting firms who use the list I'd like to ask two quick favours:

1. Please do not use the list to harvest resumes for fictitious positions or a position you know to be already filled. This is not AFAIK a common occurrence on this list but apparently it has happened recently. If it comes to my attention that you are doing it I will blacklist you and your firm from posting. I'd rather not have to do that so please refrain from the temptation.
2. If you use the list to post req's please if possible reply to people who send your resumes. I know it's tough in terms of time - but even an auto-responder is better than the void.
3. Please refrain from posting req's laden with marketing literature and UPPER CASE HOT JOB! FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY! type messaging. This is for my benefit - I have to read this stuff and it get's, well, annoying.
