Seeking infosec employment

All,

I am currently looking for employment in the Information Security field. I have approximately 2 years experience in network security, including exposure to Checkpoint firewall management, proxy deployment, global anti-virus management, intrusion detection, two-factor authentication, VPN, encryption, etc. I would like to relocate to Florida, but would consider any opportunity. Question: How does one obtain the TS/SCI or other security clearances? I see quite a few government positions with this requirement; however they currently want active clearances.
