Description
  Provides general utility and scripting techniques for automating manual security procedures. The position will include assisting with testing various system platforms in relation to security vulnerability alerts, advisories, and warnings. Responsible for daily monitoring and review of security vulnerability and risk reports. This position also includes updating and monitoring the security web page.  

Requirements
  Working toward a degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong troubleshooting, follow through, interpersonal, verbal and written skills. 6 months experience in working with NT, Solaris, Linux, and Wintel platforms. Good utility programming/script skills (Perl, C, Shellscripts, HTML, Java, and Javascript). Knowledge of security principles, theories, and techniques are a plus. Ideal candidate will have installed and maintained security on his or her firewalled home network. Eager to learn and is self motivated.
