Senior Scientist, Risk Assessments - Chicago, IL - Greythorn

Once again we are still on the look out for a Senior Security Scientist for Risk Assessments. Join one of the premier internal information security teams in the nation as they continuously break new ground in securing a growing financial infrastructure where normal COTS products won't suffice.

They pride themselves on complimenting their team with each new hire and this position is going to be no different.

You will be maximizing your efforts in the execution of the risk assessment process for the new IT infrastructure development projects, existing production systems and applications on a continuous basis.

We are looking for candidates with a fundamental understanding of Microsoft's interworkings and how they relate to security. In-depth hands on experience in the following is also needed:

• Vulnerability Identification and Exploitation;
• OS level Inter-Process Communications (IPC)
• Socket Programming & Network Packet Construction;
• Reverse Engineering (binaries, protocols, black-box devices, etc.);
• Debugging (remote application, local binary, etc.);
• Advanced Programming (Web, OS, Server, Network, etc.) in many languages, but C/C++ and assembly are required;
• General Computer and Kernel Architecture.

Some additional forecasted projects that are relevant to this role include the following:

• Active Directory - Radius/
• Privilege Separation/
• 2 Factor Authentication, Authorization/
• Access Control
• Data encryption PKI work
