Senior Cyber Security Consultant DC Area

A 4-year degree (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience are required. The successful candidate will lead and conduct programmatic aspects of cyber security inspections of major cyber security programs throughout the US.

Cyber security assessments typically involve external penetration testing, followed by on-site testing. This position focuses on the programmatic elements of cyber security programs, such as risk management, self-assessments, policies and procedures, and management responsibilities. This position requires extensive travel (approximately 30%) as an inspection team member. This position also demands the highest degree of public trust and requires that the candidate be submitted for a US Government security clearance.

A working knowledge of network infrastructure, (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, IDS, etc.), as well as project management and technical writing skills are a must.
