... to move to Las Vegas!
The Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration is
looking for a few good nerds! Specifically, packet ninjas who are located

Nevada. Prima-donnas and rock stars need not apply - this is a
collaborative, team-oriented gig.
Here's a cut n paste of the requirements:
- Deter, identify, monitor and investigate computer and network intrusions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information
systems.
- Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures,
and trends in computer and network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and
encryption.
- Develop tools, techniques, training and countermeasures for computer and
network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and encryption.
- Understand and maintain in-depth hands-on experience with computer
network penetration testing and techniques.
- Experience in computer intrusion analysis and investigation, intrusion
operations, and network surveillance/monitoring.
- System administration experience supporting UNIX and Windows-based
workstations and servers.
- Experience with various network and operating systems.
- Strong knowledge and experience in networking protocols.
- Experience with software reverse engineering and analyzing network
attacks.
- Technical certifications or BS degree preferred but not required.
- Personnel must enjoy working in a team environment that promotes sharing
and creativity (stop laughing!).
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security
investigation and must maintain eligibility requirements for government
security clearances.
- Must be U.S. Citizen
