JOB OPENING: Security Engineers

here is another job posting for Alphatech Corporation.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions: Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, Associate IT Specialist, and Security Tech Writer. You would be based in Arlington, VA but would be required to travel up to 50%. Travel to customer site will be paid for, but relocation to Arlington, VA will not be covered.

Job Requirements:
Principal Engineer/Analyst -
Must be familiar with all of the following: Certification and Accreditation methodologies, National Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (NIACAP), or DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP); risk assessment methodologies such as NIST 800-30 system security plan development in accordance with NIST 800-18. Must be able to lead teams of four people; must have excellent writing and interviewing skills. Working knowledge of database systems, networks, or security architecture required.

Senior Engineer/Analyst -
Must be familiar with at least one of the following: Certification and Accreditation methodologies, NIACAP, or DITSCAP; risk assessment methodologies such as NIST 800-30; system security plan development in accordance with NIST 800-18. Must have good writing and interviewing skills. Working knowledge of database systems, networks, or security architecture desirable. Must have a laptop computer.

Associate IT Specialist -
Must be able to track status for large documents in process and large pieces of Government Furnished Information simultaneously. Must be able to set up a directory structure to allow organization of work in process and working information. Must be able to develop spreadsheets or other status lists. Must be able to set up a library of several hundred reusable sections of documents and assist engineers and analysts in locating and retrieving relevant sections.

Tech Writer -
Must be able to combine sections of documents by 3-4 separate authors into a single document with a consistent style, tone, and format. Must be able to proofread, correct grammar, syntax, and unclear passages. Must have excellent skills with Microsoft Work XP, such as the ability to set up templates, styles, tables of contents, insert graphics, and correct incorrect formatting.
