Sr. Software/Embedded Systems Engineer

This is a position for an innovative engineer in the area of mobile devices, embedded security systems, smart cards, and firmware cryptology. Duties include development of SW and FW for mobile device and proximity payment and security solutions including design, test, and validation, as well as interface with /manufacturing, marketing, field application engineers, and customers.

• 10+ years experience
• Programming Skills: C/C++, Java, 8051 F/W
• Solid hands-on security knowledge including cryptography (3DES, RSA, SSL)
• Strong experience in developing, implementing, testing, and validating crypto software and applications on an embedded platform, specifically in the PDA and/or SmartPhone space
• Working knowledge of embedded operating system environments including Symbian, Palm, and WinCE
• Broad-based knowledge of the embedded systems and software security space, including the ability to function comfortably at the application layer on high-level OS, as well as the device driver and hardware level
• Strong Project management skill required; good communication and Presentation skills, and a Team player
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and take initiative to overcome barriers in a self-directed project environment.
